Wooh! I had my last exam today!..it feels like so long ago...but.. I'm soo happy!
You'd think that after a whole week of examination torture I'd want to..I dunno, go out with friends or rest at home doing..well..not studying..But nope. I'm at school right now (9:35 pm) and I'm going to be here for the next 8 1/2 hours. It's a dream come true:to stay overnight at school...
My grade is doing this fundraiser thing called a Rockathon and basically we stay at school from 6 pm to 6 am and we have these 10 rocking chairs that we have to keep rocking. So we just kinda have to sit here for 12 hours and watch movies and stuff...

It's about 7 AM, you are probably on your way home. hope you managed to have fun, and didn't break those chains. well, at least, exams are over. anyways, mama geny said you also got accepted at the university in toronto. you owe me a call. congratulations!

Yeah..I guess it wasn't too bad. We watched The Dark Knight and Mean Girls on the huge screen in our Great Hall which was exciting. And also, while rocking away, I got the chance to talk to some people in my grade that I don't normally interact with, so that was kinda nice. Um..I was one of the 7 people who didn't sleep at all in the 12 hours of Rockathon, so my first all nighter was a success! Good preparation for university? Haha
ReplyDeleteThanks Gil and Ninang Cits. The university is actually in Ottowa, but Toronto and Ottowa are in the same province so whatever. I did apply to the University of Toronto, but it's the only one that hasn't replied back yet (I submitted my application 2 days ago...)
Lol, you're right Gil. I think I can speak for my entire grade when I say that we were exhausted after exams and totally didn't want to do the Rockathon, but I think I'm kinda glad that I went.
coming from experience, all nighters are kind of necessary in college, so good job practicing! lol the whole idea of the "rockathon" just sounds so funny to me... i kinda wish we had some of those
ReplyDeleteI realized right after I posted that comment that I spelled "ottawa" incorrectly (I just did again while typing it in this sentence..) I know I misspelled it twice..but I swear I do know how to spell the capital city of my country XD
ReplyDeleteYeah..it sounded kinda funny to our entire grade too haha. At firt no one really wanted to do it and in the end only about 2/3 of us showed up..but it's their loss
