I'm on youtube!

Okay..this might not be as exciting for some of you who are on youtube for actual reasons like performances or whatever (which is cool, don't get me wrong) but I was really excited when I found this.
So it's been a while since some new posts came up on the blog and mum wanted me to share this with all of you since..well..it's cool haha. Sooooo..this past Sunday, August 2, was the gay pride festival here in Vancouver. A couple of friends and I went; I was wearing all the rainbow gear I owned and my friends were dressed pretty outrageously as well. We went with my friend's brother who actually is gay. He was just wearing shorts and a yellow shirt so we made fun of him since we "out gay-ed" him on his turf haha. Anyways, his school, SFU (which is wear James goes! :o) has this thing called "Out on Campus" and they were marching in the Pride Parade (they were originally gonna have a float but due to some computer problems they couldn't register for one in time)They said the more the merrier, so my friends and I got to be in the parade as well!! It was soo much fun and there were TONS of people. It felt pretty cool that as we walked down the streets of Vancouver there were like half a million people cheering us on XD. Anyways, I got home and I was on youtube looking up pics and vids of the parade. Since I was a part of it I didn't get to see all the floats before me. I come across this one slideshow and..well, I'll let you see for yourselves!

You guys can watch the whole video since there are some pretty awesome floats and costumes, or if you want you can just skip ahead to 7:19. Enjoy! =D

i went to the national pride festival in DC last month and it was also a ton of fun! they had a ton of performances (including the self-dubbed "Oldest Drag in Captivity" and the infamous "DC Cowboys") and they had some really really good food too :P

  4. Haha, thanks XD

Jaydee, that sounds really awesome. I would imagine that Capital Pride would be really cool. My friends and I went to the festival site after the parade, but we didn't actually get to see the performances. It was really really hot that day so we ended up dunking ourselves in the beach instead haha
