Good day to everyone in the cousin clan. The reason for this post is..well..Ninang Cita was slightly vexed that I haven't been keeping her updated with my university things..so..ya..
A few days ago I heard back from the University of Toronto, which was the last one I was waiting for. Um..I got accepted there... and a whole bunch of you wanted to know where else I got accepted to so here we goooooo...
In Canada:
1) University of Toronto- it's uh..in Toronto.. which is about an 8 hour drive north of New York
2) Carleton University- It's in Canada's capital, Ottawa. Same area-ish of Toronto
And, yes, you heard right, I'm thinking about studying abroad in the United Kingdom, and I've been accepted to 5 places there.
At first I was thinking of University of Glasgow, which is in Scotland (how cool would it be to go to school in Scotland?) But then I changed my top UK choice to Loughborough University, which is in a small university town of Leicestershire (can you pronounce that Ate Maan? Lay-kes-ter-shyr? I dunno, whatever.) It's about 2 hours out of London, which is pretty cool. The other 3 schools I applied to were safety schools and I'm too lazy to list them out hehe.
I've narrowed down my decision to either U of T or Loughborough, but I think I'm leaning towards Toronto. Sorry guys, I know you were all really excited to visit me in the UK haha. But you never, know. We shall see :)
Oh, and thanks for the reminder Ate Cayeene..I never knew Chuck's last name was Heffern..

congrats niks! uk would be really cool, but go with what you think is the best one for you as far as your career goals and the best preparation that will lead you to your goals. even if we want to squeeze you neck for not deciding to go to the uk, we're still proud of you for getting into all those colleges. you "cousins" are reallly a special breed!!!
